Lovely cherry red Tokai UES 68 (Gibson ES 335 copy).

The UES68 is the latest designation number for what was the UES60 / ES60. Lots of positive reviews of these guitars on this very forum.

It comes with a nice black hard case, and the pickups have been upgraded to the fantastic sounding Tonerider Alnico IV (really great vintage PAF copies, about as good as it gets without paying a lot more for boutique pickups - lots of info here: http://www.tdpri.com/threads/tonerider-alnico-iv-classics-analysis-and-review.683122/).

It's in cherry red and has plenty of wood grain on show (which for some reason hasn't really come out in the photos; there are no opaque areas, although the photos don't seem to show that!).

I've changed the knobs to the more vintage accurate mirrored knobs and also put some knob pointers on, but I do have the original yellow knobs.

All told, it cost me just shy of £600 including case and pickups.

Am looking for trade for something of similar value. Probably something like a Strat or a Tele. Would consider other guitars though, as long as it's something 'traditional' and not pointy.

I'm near Newcastle.
