my isobox is way bigger than normal (it contains 3 x 12 inch drivers and 3 mics), but it would still be a smaller space than a large room

    what tests are they?
can you do it with short impulses?

Not easy to explain without an NDA.

Essentially comparing bits of consumer equipment to see which one does a better job of recording audio in various simulated real world scenarios.

It's actually more important that every test is the same rather than getting the absolute pinnacle of audio quality.

I am a live audio engineer specialising in speaker system optimisation, so this is my kind of thing..
Basically, as said above, ISO cabs will not work for you, they are hugely non-linear in response and colouring.
Even a studio room is not really the right environment for critically evaluative measurement.

These things should be free field (but that's mostly impossible) so the compromise is an anechoic chamber..

*However* it totally depends what you're actually trying to measure - and what acceptable levels of tolerance are etc etc etc..

I'm sure I could probably streamline/develop your tests somewhat to come up with a better option.. but appreciate if this is commercially sensitive. Maybe drop me a PM if you want to look at some advice within an NDA (happy to help you out with at least a conversation for free!)..
