Was it discarded in a drainage ditch?

Looks like fun. Some Maxon stuff goes for crazy money, you may have struck gold if you can find the right sucker discerning collector. I started using their pedals a while ago, ratio of gems to turkeys is v good so far.

Reviews say it's somewhere between a TS-808 and an Ibanez Standard Fuzz.

Ok so curiosity got the better of me and I bought a battery from the corner shop.

This thing is fucking immense!!!!

Its like a Tubescreamer had a baby with a Fuzz. 

Imagine mid gained, mid humped fuzz with a tight low end and a thick top end, with the clean signal mix character of a Tubescreamer.

Its lovely, crisp and crunchy for chords on a clean amp, with higher register notes breaking out into light fuzz territory, cleans up wonderfully. 

Into a heavy gain channel it thickens up and remains tight but fat, with the clean signal mix just enough to keep it articulate.

Oddly engaging the switch acts as a noise filter, cutting out all the pre amp hiss on the drive channel??

Never had that before on a boost or drive device.

I think ive found a boost/fuzz I love!!!!
