Even better their UK tour has them doing 4 nights in Hammersmith. Last time they were in London it was the O2 which could not have suited them...

The National are one of those bands that I've seen live, have most of their albums (Sad Sings For Dirty Lovers has been played to death) but still tend to forget about.

No Midlands dates on the tour though :-(

It's a bit disappointing but they have not done the regional tour bit in the U.K. For years. Tends to be couple of big festivals then London/Dublin/ Glasgow type thing
