Crap food that reminds you of childhood...

What's Hot

I bought some Findus crispy pancakes today (minced beef) and loved them for tea. I know they'll contribute to my early demise but they took me right back to being a kid again. Buttered bread on the side too. Heaven.

Any other totally unhealthy food you guys remember (or still eat) that reminds you of being young?

Fray Bentos pies were great with mashed potato and a little veg.

Boil in the bag cod in parsley source. Something about the texture of it made me gag. My mum made me eat some once and justice was done when I threw it up.

Anyone remember Black Jacks? Probably considered politically incorrect nowadays I imagine.
Maintained it for 20 years. This old guitar's had 17 new necks and 14 new bodies in its time.

Pobs, I dare say the majority of guys on here wouldn't know what it was, It was 'poor' food when there was nowt in the larder in the late 50's early 60's, pieces of old bread in warm milk & a spoonful of sugar if you were lucky.
You got teased unmercifully at school if the other kids found out! Kinell I'm old.

Those wanky 5" Diameter Pizzas that you shoved under the grill or the Findus French Bread Pizzas. It was the early 80's, Lol, as if that was a "proper" Pizza.

I love all that shitty old stuff. I'd honestly struggle to suggest anything I didn't like. I'm obviously not that fussy having grown up on a North East council estate in the 70's.

Me too pal. Grew up in Blackhall Colliery and Peterlee during that time. Moved to Hartlepool in 1980.
