    Hi noorha,

Do you know the model number and the year it was built?
I recommend you get some pictures of the instrument posted up on here.
People on this forum will really want to know more information.

p.s. From your advert is sounds like you may not be an experienced guitarist, if you need more information on the guitar then the good folks over at  http://www.tokaiforum.com can give you plenty of advice on what model you've got.

Good luck and welcome to the forum :)

Hate to be the villain here, but judging by the bridge and 3 screw truss rod cover that's not a Made in Japan Tokai - is most likely Chinese or Korean

Can't see the pics but if it's a flat head screw tunamatic and 3 screws trussrod cover it's either a Korean or Chinese

A model number would be nice, we all know how confusing Tokai can be for identifying a model.

That's a really nice looking instrument. Possibly Korean as the build quality looks particularly good. These do go for less money than the Japanese versions so you may struggle to realise your asking price. Of course it might be some sort of 'special' as the headstock inlay is plush. Definitely have a chat with the folks on the Tokai forum as there are some real specialists over there. Good luck

equalsql - IT IS MADE IN JAPAN. Unless you don't hold the guitar, you should not make any assumptions..

It says on the body MADE IN JAPAN and the build is superior, so I will reserve my comments on it being Korean

It might be worth adding a photo of that, it's a critical factor in you getting your asking price.

it looks like a nice guitar, but as the proud owner of an Edwards LP I can testify to the minefield that is the MIK/MIC/MIJ conundrum. (Especially as companies like Edwards apparently sent some of their Japanese staff to build in a Korean factory for a time to meet demand!)

Sorry to have to  join in and say it, but it is not a MIJ Tokai, Looking at the serial number and the shape of the dimple on the headstock suggests its not even a licenced Tokai. Doesn't make it a bad guitar, you might need to rethink your asking price though.

Here's another non-Japanese "Japanese" Tokai for sale...

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tokai-ES60-Semi-Acoustic-Guitar-Made-in-Japan-/232341427610

I guess it's an understandable mistake when the label says "Tokai Gakki Japan".

That headstock shape is very odd indeed - I have a UK market MIJ Tokai and even with the dimple the sweeps are not as pronounced. OP, I would definitely investigate further, perhaps with the Tokai UK distributor.
