And now for something completely different:.

Top row: Cole Clark Angel III, Guild CO-2, Maton SRS60C custom
Bottom row: Tacoma Thunderhawk, Maton Messiah 808, Mineur custom build, Maton WA May.

(Huon Pine, Red Spruce, Western Red Cedar)
(Bottom row all Sitka Spruce except the Mineur which is Englemann.)

    Headstocks:

    Backs:

Top row: Silky Maple, mahogany (unfortunately dyed dark - I friggin' hate it when idiots stain perfectly good timber), Queensland Maple. (Silky Maple and Queensland Maple are both Flindersia species - i.e., vagiely related to citrus and nothing whatever to do with the maples of the Northern Hemisphere.)

Bottom row: Rock Maple, Indian Rosewood, Myrtle Beech (aka "Tiger Myrtle"), Blackwood.

Massive changes over the past year of clearing out guitars that have sat unused predominantly over the past couple of years and have consolidated those into a guitar I will use.

    From left to right:

2022 Gibson SG Standard - from 4 SG’s to one, this is a cracker!

2018 Gibson CS 1957 Les Paul Reissue - recent acquisition, lovely guitar but a pickup change in the near future is a certainty as the pickups don’t have enough punch, cut or bottom end for what I need.

2016 Gibson ES335 Vos 1958 - The guitar by which all others are measured by, I’ve had this from new and is a superb. The guitar that always ends up on recordings as nothing can beat it but that could change once I dial in the Les Paul better.

My collection may have shrunk but I’m thoroughly happy.

Photo doesn’t do the Goldtop justice so here’s another one!

@tannin are they lying on a mound of the remains of all those who came before them? All the acoustics that didint make the cut? Like photographing your new baby piglet on a pile of bacon.

I need to get in here as I haven't taken an "all hands" photo in years. The problem is if I put them all in one photo it becomes much more difficult to avoid counting them...

    Here is my Guitar Family:

    2004 Washburn N4
    2004 Charvel CS Red Bullseye
    2005 Music Man Axist Sport
2007 Charvel CS B & W Bullseye (Masterbuilt by Mike Shannon)
    2015 Charvel CS Metallic Blue
    2007 Music Man Y2D
    2018 EVH Wolfgang USA
    2018 Dean ML (Dime, upgraded)

My collection was once much bigger, but I have downsized a lot over the years. I now try to maintain a small group that get my regular attention, alongisde life's many events and responsibilities. I think you can spot the obvious influences ;)

All I need now is a Ibanez JCustom, MIJ N4/ US 4N and a US Dean Dime ML ..and then I'll feel "complete" ... haha

Those Charvels are awesome.  I could never carry off playing the bullseyes in public though!

Thanks for the kind words. The bullseye's are a bit "visual" ... that's for sure  haha =) .... but they were the builds I craved for, as a younger player (but could never afford, or find). They also play amazing well, almost playing themselves.

Thanks for your kind words Nightswan! They are my favourites from over the years, after reducing my collection down.

I don't know what you do to your pictures to make your guitars look so damn good, but a green blanket background was my best attempt  =) haha

Current Tele collection apart from the Squier, which I've dismantled with a plan of refinishing.
