How does In This Discussion work?

Well the thing is that this list, from The *Official* FretBoard Celebrity Fat Club Weigh In and Diet thread, does not list everyone in the discussion.

The bit that is not immediately obvious to me is why the "in This Discussion" list does not list everyone in this discussion. I'm not too fussed about the alphabetical or chronological aspect of the list, but I'm sure that is going to explained too.

I hope that this explains my lack of understanding of the function.

OK, seems to me that something's changed in the latest version of the software which nobody's spotted - it seems to have a maximum of 20 entries applied to it. It's also had the sort ordering changed (if it's going to limit to 20, it should show them in reverse chronological order). I'll try to remember it next time I'm fiddling in the code...

The when they last posted seems to be a time if it's very recent, just a date if less so ( over a day I think).  

I've never understood it though as it only contains information you can see already ( although not at a glance if the Discussion is on multiple pages)and, according to Chris, even that isn't accurate ( I don't appear in that screenshot for example even though I should so I'm sure he's right).

Yet you're quite happy to try and hide the thread so that a resolution can not be reached?
