Very cool. Surprised it's taken this long though, a friend of mine did his PhD (electronic engineering) on the algorithms needed for swarming nearly 10years ago.

Always be yourself! Unless you can be Batman, in which case always be Batman.
My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

I haven't watched but if it's not soundtracked by Ride of the Valkyries I'm gonna be dissapointed

WoW! that is so cool. I had no idea they could be controlled to such a precise degree like that.

...and how long is it going to take for dodgy governments to realise that its a pretty nifty way to circumvent the international ban on cluster bombs.

    sigh.

    My trading feedback

is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?

The flying in formation was nice, but the truly impressive bit was when they moved out of the way when the researcher walked through them.
Interesting to know how much of the position sensing/vectoring is done on-board vs the (I am assuming) sensor array around the flightpath.

    Scary and cool indeed.

That's some dude's actual job... To muck about with drones for hours on end.

I'm about to go teach some 14 year olds not to stab each other with a compass.

I've clearly made some poor life choices
