It is being reported that he apparently tried to set up a secret hotline to Moscow for Trump.  Secret as in "out of reach of the US security agencies".

Oh dear.

    Oh dear.
    Just because a senior White House advisor (with the largest portfolio of responsibility... Ever?) wanted a un-tapable, and un-spoken-of phone line to Russia's chief spymaster for the US, why should anyone think anything dishonest was going on?
