Bought another jcm800, help me use the fx loop for lead boost please !

ive bought another jcm800. I love em.. But there's no room for a solo / lead boost.

what do I put in the fx loop to make a good lead boost for solos ?

my fx loop has 2 settings , +4 and -10 , which one would I use?


are long cable runs going to be an issue with this type of setup?

    Any clean boost pedal, or a Boss LS-2 which will give you three levels if you want… just in case one boost isn't enough ;).

    Probably best to set the loop to -10. Long cables aren't an issue because the 2203 reissue loop is properly buffered.
