U2 don't qualify ...
Dik Evans was the first guitarist followed by Ivan McCormick. The Edge was guitarist number three ... :-)

They were called The Hype then, so it still counts
Technically it wasn't as the band chose the name U2 when Evans was still part of the band. They played as a foursome at a talent show as Evans was doing exams and then had another gig as a five piece .. the Edge admits in an interview they had two guitarists for about 5 minutes as hype/U2.

Aerosmith? I suspect they had a couple of extras occasionally.
And I'll give you U2 ... the Edge's older brother didn't contribute anything .. I think the Edge was just being kind .. ;-)
