Having praised Agadoo and Lilly Allen on here this week I'm not sure where I've left to go as a guilty pleasure. However, I used to enjoy singing Chantilly Lace by the Big Bopper a great deal so maybe that.

There's some mid-late 60s/early 70s pop that I could happily listen to in large doses. Partly it's to do with association with carefree times, partly because it was good.

I love The Tremeloes, there's something about Lenny Hawkes' voice. Their "psychedelic" album, after they had denounced their pop past is pretty good, too.

I have a thing for bashing out Whitney Houston songs on piano and singing along when no one is around. It's all a bit gay sounding what with the very female-centric lyrics, but there are some nice chord and key changes going on. I have a terrible voice but it sure

I played 'I will always love you' and 'love is all around' on William Wordworths harpsichord once. Michael Buerk was there too. Sadly things didn't pan out with that particular girlfriend.

Not sure why my last post is in the quote I was quoting! As for guilty pleasures, Love Story (I think Taylor Swift) and Breakaway (Kelly Clarkson?) Obviously I'm 'ard as nails though.

Yeah, I listen to this stuff while working out, shaving with a kitchen knife and stuffing badgers.  Rock & Roll!

Joking aside, I'm about as tough as a teletubby if you know me, however I genuinely have used kitchen instruments on two separate occasions for DIY surgery. Hate hospitals!

Mine are as follows, but to be fair I have done these in public as I have no shame:

The Ryan Adams versions of Taylor Swift songs, quite enjoy singing them

Loretta Lynn, but a lot of really old style country (back when it sounded like country!)

Jamie Cullum (on piano though not guitar)

Some of the earlier Adele songs work surprisingly very nicely with acoustic guitar, mispronouncing vowels is optional.

None of these can I claim to be ironic either ;)

Please note my communication is not very good, so please be patient with me
