SOLD - Fender Mexican Deluxe/ Lonestar Stratocaster, Burgundy Mist Metallic £375
What's Hot
NOW SOLD: Fender Mexican Deluxe series Stratocaster, Burgundy Mist Metallic, £375.
This lovely Strat is a Mexican made Lonestar model with maple neck / fingerboard. I have swapped the complete pickguard assembly with one from a Fender American Special Strat, hence it now has a full complement of three Texas Special single coil pickups.
As the entire loaded pickguard is from an American Special it also has the grease bucket tone control circuitry, and all the plastics are parchment rather than the mint/aged white/ black humbucker 'pick and mix' approach of the original HSS pickguard. The neck has a 9.5" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets and the guitar is supplied with the original Fender deluxe padded gig bag, hang tags, Allen keys etc.
It is in immaculate unmarked condition, and plays and sounds superb. As I have no means to pack it effectively it is priced at £375 cash on collection from Bury, just north of Manchester. Whilst I can't ship the guitar, I am happy to drive and meet someone part way for a confirmed sale. No trades thanks, I need to make a bit (lot) of space!

I have the cheaper fender tex mex pickups in a lovely partscaster and they are great pickups... so am sure this will sound as good as it looks
Glwts.
I've never yet shipped a guitar, and don't really want to learn how to do it now, and I don't have anything suitable to pack it in. But I don't mind a bit of driving to meet someone part way, assuming its for a confirmed sale.
