Looking for a hi resolution laptop 1600+ is good. 1920 would be better. I need a display port for hi resolution external monitor. Thanks Folks!

    You can do 4K on HDMI on a newish laptop - you don't necessarily need DisplayPort.

    USB-C will do the job too - adaptors are cheap and plentiful. :)
