So presuming there's a cavity behind it, fitting the extra pots and making it like that one above should be easy?
If not, you'll be borrowing my router!! ;)

    I'll help you mod it.

Skull and Crossbones needs to be on there somewhere.

  • Could the headstock be reshaped to be more like the original MM one?

I reckon the original 1923 Gibson Snakehead Mandolin headstock shape would look fab on these:

If they set neck I can see these been popular to mod. P90's possible? Wonder how much they gonna be. Vintage burst looks cool.

I understand the nod to the original Melody Maker, but those single coils are a pretty stupid choice for a budget Les Paul-alike these days.

That said I like the look of the turquoise and blue ones, and the black one would be OK with a black pickguard.

I'm not sure they're any more affordable than the old Epiphone Junior either, which was a better super-cheap 'Les Paul' in my opinion.

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

I'm very tempted by the idea of a turquoise one with Mojo Foil Sonics and a fancy Scratch-It guard

I don't care who says what I'm getting one of them as soon as they're available.
Having thought about it the 'Pacific Blue' looks great as it is without a pick guard swap and all I can see myself needing is a pair of 'Oil City' pickups and some CTS pots and switch. .......maybe  (definitely) a visit to Steve Robinson and there's an amazing guitar right there.

A couple o' Duncan Blackouts for Stratocaster might liven things up.

Restyling the headstock to Gibson MM proportions would leave some of the machinehead holes open along their edges. D'oh!
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.
