Slimmer necks.

Charvel, Jackson ESP/LTD etc all do thinner, more comfortable necks.

I have an Artcore and it is a chunky neck - which is a nice surprise on a cheapish guitar. It feels most like a Gibson 50's round back type thing, very similar to an SG I had. A low to mid priced Fender will almost certainly have a more manageable C shape, as would almost anything in this price range, so I wouldn't worry. The Artcore is fairly unique here.
