Fabulous point to point hand wired silverface Fender classic - all for the price of something so much less toneful.  The Bandmaster Reverb is unusual in that it has a mid control on the vibrato channel; this means that there's a great deal more versatility offered than in other lower wattage Fenders, and offers the chance to send serious low end to your adoring listeners.

The Bandmaster has a clutch of valve magic, as follows:
  • V1 12ax7 = Preamp normal channel
  • V2 12ax7 = Preamp vibrato channel
  • V3 12at7 = Reverb send
  • V4 12ax7 = 1/2 Reverb recovery and 1/2 gain stage for vibrato channel
  • V5 12ax7 = Vibrato
  • V6 12at7 = Phase inverter
  • V7 6L6 = Power tube #1
  • V8 6L6 = Power tube #2
  • V9 5U4GB = Rectifier tube
The sinfully deep reverb and thrumming vibrato work perfectly to offer 40 watts of pure Fender magic to the Celestion Neodymium G12 Century speakers.  These really sound very sweet, and are perfectly matched to the silverface vibe.  They are housed in a non-vintage Fender-style cabinet, with all the correct tolex, grille cloth, and logo; the baffle is a proper screw in type.  And this cab weighs less than your auntie's feather duster.  A nice George L speaker connect is included, as is the original two button foot switch.  What's not to like?

Cash on collection from central London.

    Nice amp.
That's a smooth and lyrical sales patter you've got there.
You're not in double glazing by any chance?  ;)

According to online data, this is a 1969 model.  That makes this an early model in the TFL5005D production run...hope this helps.

bump...staggering verve and value.  Why buy a modern PCB for more money when you can embrace The Source?
