If you wanted effects couldn't you just put those things in the loop of the current model? I don't really get it, aside from the expression stuff which sounds cool.

It's the expression and external control which is a really good addition, as far as I'm concerned. Otherwise, yes, nothing new.

I must be the luckiest ehx owner. I've never had a pedal fail on me, I've had a pog2, superego, and a holy stain on my board for years and more recently a mel9 and I've not had one ounce of trouble.
