How many dumb idiotic shitheaded emails do you get a day? I'm up to about 10 a day.

Work or personal? I'm mostly affected by work emails, since I have come to accept that 99.9% of personal emails are useless and usually from info sources I've subscribed to.

At work, it's usually only a couple, it depends who wants information / help from me.

Work - about 10, but I also get astonishingly moronic emails from the village idiots within the organisation, so maybe about 30, then.

Home - not many, the Yahoo filter seems to work a treat. Actually, it works better than the one for work which we pay for!

I get a lot of those stupid scam ones claiming to be a power of attorney or some shit from Nigeria and I'm entitled to thousands of dollars worth of inheritance money. Bad grammar and spelling, addressed to as a Mrs Darren..

Ignoring spam, not that many.

Though I'm onto my ninth email for the same job, trying to explain to someone that a female XLR to TRS cable is not the same as a male XLR to TRS cable, and that maybe we should send the customer the female XLR to TRS cable that I specified nine emails ago, and eight emails ago, and seven... and so on.

If we're talking about work, then about 10 a day. None of which I need because I actually pay attention to what's going on and  keep myself up to date with what's changed/ about to.

I'm still surrounded by colleagues who complain that "No-one ever tells us when things change" though because they never read their fucking e-mails!

Our new director of comms at work is bloody annoying. He decided that we need to know about health stories in the news (we are public health), so every single day one of his underlings is tasked with finding stories and emailing them to all of us, one story per email, just a massive chunk of unformatted text copied crudely from a website. This afternoon I had 34, yes 34 consecutive emails of news posted to my inbox. This is MORONIC!
