Hardware mods:
Bridge - BKP HSP90 Mississippi Queen
Neck - BKP HSP90 Blue-Note
BKP/Jensen 0.022uF tone capacitor
500k Volume pot
+ Additional 500k Volume pot

(Pups for sale individually if you wish)

Ibanez Iceman IC300. Probably not quite what you'd expect of an iceman with these pick-ups but the work has really paid off, it sounds incredible.

Bare Knuckle Pickups humbucker sized P90s. Mississippi Queen in the bridge for versatility and a Blue-Note neck for single coil like tones. Covers rock and blues beautifully but is very versatile.

The cavaties were shielded with nickel paint. We also fitted an extra volume control because Iceman guitars look so much better with 3 controls like the classic PS10, and it allowed individual control of each pickup. Both are 500k pots, and there is a BKP/Jensen 0.022uF cap so there is a nice smooth treble roll off available. Also replaced the pickup switch because the old one was playing up. All the work was done by feline guitars in Croydon (I'm sure they will verify).

There is the odd little dink here and there but I couldn't get them to show up on the camera. I'll try and get some better pics of that. There is no hardcase included.

Really love this thing and it has a lot of sentimental value but I just don't play anymore and could use the money elsewhere. Thanks.

£300
Or £120 for the pair of bareknuckles separately

You would possibly be better off selling the BKPs separately.

The market for P90 equipped Iceman guitars is probably quite small.

yes - remember this one well - the adaptation to the PS10 look was a good move (says the resident Kiss fan)
    Sounded great!

Many guitars have a re-sale value. Some you'll never want to sell.

    @monquixote ;
Quite right! If anyone wants to buy the pups they are for sale individually. Also let's me keep the guitar as I'd rather not be rid of it.

Thanks for the comment. I'm so happy with how it came out.

  • Is the neck joint on this the AANJ or is it a set neck?

If it's AANJ would you be willing to sell the guitar without the pickups?
