Oh dear it's a nasty Vertex wah pedal. No, I didn't buy it new, honest! It is of course a BBE Ben Wah, and I have to say it's as good a wah as I've had, including the RMC Picture. 
There is a missing washer that should be under the nut of the input socket. This means that the nut doesn't tighten as much as it used to, but it hasn't caused me any problems. It tightens a certain amount (enough to hold it securely) and then any attempt at further tightening makes it loose again. If you find it an issue you can return it, but I don't expect you will.
