    Ha! :)

The best pedal ever. But is it the much rarer and better SD&F or the common-as-muck SF&D? ;)

(Actually they are exactly the same, apart from the name.)

"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski

"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein

    Common as muck version. :-D

Had a three minute play with it at "kids in bed" volume last night. Need to get a chance to crank it up properly later. The feedback is a bit odd but I didn't buy it for that.

Can't think why else you'd buy it. The distortion sounds horrific.

    Is your DS1 vintage too?

    -sadly not.

    I've now got a TR-2, DF-2, CE-2, Ph-2, RC-2, and Re-20.

Quite tempted to swap my DS-1 for a DS-2 just to keep my numerological side happy. Although then I'd have to swap my incoming SD-1 for something else yellow and *-2...

---probably means I'll like it. :-D

I am very much not a "traditional" guitarist, most of the traditional guitar heroes (and therefore guitar sounds) don't really do much for me.

As expected I bloomin love the DF-2.

Think I'll keep my DS-1 around, though. They're sufficiently different to warrant having both.

:# You don't have OCDs, your drive is at the end of the chain and the DS1 is hanging slightly over the edge of the board!

    By a strange coincidence...

    The best overdrive ever. :)

It does a pretty great rock crunch too, and can be boosted by other pedals well. Plus, the feedbacker is hilarious for weird stuff.
