Just received a pair of tad tonebone pentode converters with EL84 tubes thinking that they would get my hot rod deluxe above 1 on the volume in my house however just realised they work better for the natural breakup of a tube amp and do not hep the volume.

They have only just came this morning from Hotrox and ive had them plugged in for half hour before realising they havent done anything to the volume of my amp. with me plugging them in and turning them on i dont think ill get a refund so looking at selling them for £60 plus £5 postage ( ive just paid £80 yesterday for them)
