Me too had sorted a spec out for a pickup rewind, the colour was very unlike something I'd own but I loved it, but it is just too small.

So we have the streamliner in green, an ibanez as 53 in black or the rather lovely as73 in mint

Oh balls to trying to post images on here, I know how to post images, so why does it no longer work on here?

The ibanez AS are a great size, just slightly less bulky than a 335.

I'm really starting to lean in this direction, there was a nice looking one in PMT but wasn't my thing with the relic treatment, but the shape and build looked good.

I'm loving the as73 in the mint and flat black but think if I was to go black the lower model as53 looks more suited to the black.

I went to look back to your NGD thread but the pic is missing as it was on photobucket

Yes stupid photobucket is now holding my pics to ransom, demanding money, so that's not going to happen!

I think the Ibanez Artcore is def the best value in the budget semi hollow market, it really is a lot of guitar for the money. I'll prob move mine in soon but only because I'm on a journey to trying out a few different types of guitar I've never got around to. That mint one looks rather lovely.

I'm probably rather late to this thread but I think an Epi Gary Clark Jr would tick the boxes for you.

I have a completely irrational dislike of dark blue guitars sadly.
I can but try! Good luck on your search, it's out there.

Where? Have you seen it? Give me a clue :D

I'm 99% sure it's going to be an ibanez (something I never thought I'd type).

I had an Ibby semi-hollow, it felt solid but far from special. Didn't satisfy my semi-hollow needs.

There is one in Inverness Green showing in stock at Gear4music but sadly much as I want this beauty I'm going to pass. http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Epiphone-Casino-Coupe-Ltd-Ed-Electric-Guitar-Inverness-Green/1QT3

I still have my 96 Epi Sheraton to cover the semi hollow needs so all is not lost.

@hotpot yeah that was the one I almost bought but after seeing a 339 in the flesh it's just too small for me.

I'm all but sold on an ibanez unfortunately the mint blue doesn't seem to be available anywhere outside of the US but I'm drawn to the flat black (but the cheaper one as it doesn't have gold hardware)

OK sorted, I made my mind up, the ibanez As73 in mint blue, got the cash together, got in touch with the usual places, won't be in the UK until October :anguished:
