I don't understand. This is less useful than a pedal but surely wil be more expensive than a cable.

I think it's a cool idea, would be useful for those people who use an "always on" pedal like an EP booster.

Surely you just use a normal cable between your guitar and the octave and then a rat cable from the octave to the amp or am I missing something?

Being able to switch it on easily.

And also by the looks of it at least 2m of cable on your board

I could see the point in this much more if it was a clean boost/buffer circuit - say bypass/buffer/3dB boost/10dB boost if they wanted four settings - which I would think would be much more useful to a wider range of players than a specific distortion circuit without any adjustable controls.

Proco maybe just did it for a laugh/publicity. Companies do that at trade shows sometimes. Is it actually listed as a product anywhere?
