    I think housing the boost function in a push-pull disguised as a tone knob would keep the normal Les Paul looks for those who things a bit more traditional. 

    In an ideal world it'd be my preference, cause with this layout I use all four controls, but if I tried one of these guitars and it played and sounded killer, the slightly altered control layout wouldn't stop me buying it.
