WANTED - Old PC running DOS 3.3

I simply need access to or borrow one to  bootstap to it with my little Sharp PC3000 via its inbuilt Laplink which is very fussy and only likes really old PCs. Those old Amstrad PCs with a 3.5" floppy work...

I need to connect  my modem serial cable, boot into DOS and type :

c:\Mode com1:2400,n,8,1,p
ctty mode com1

Then copy over a 3kb floppy driver to the Sharp... simple as but unless I can find a remote  hulk, this Sharp is dead to me!

Sorry can't help re old PC, but wow, that brought back some memories - Laplink!  It was the future once!

Can you use an emulator like dosbox?

Can't you just connect any PC via serial and remote in with putty over telnet or ssh ?
