1975 Fender Stratocaster Black/White/Maple *Weekend drop £1095*

Due to emigrating I'm selling my 1975 Fender Stratocaster which when I had bought it was told it was a 1978 however after checking the neck plate serial and having popped the neck off as a request it actually dates to be a 1975 hence no serial number on the headstock.

Pickups are Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials.

 

All the hardware has been gold plated at some point but this was before I owned it. 

Body has some lovely checking in the paint.

please note the tone pots aren't original and it's been routed for humbuckers at some point too.

I still have the trem.

I also have the original neck plate which has been replaced with a blank brass one.

Comes with a decent gigbag

£1275 however I could be tempted with a trade or p/ex

Is it original finish?Any pics of the wear on the treble side of the Fret board,neck date stamp,inside routing?

I don't think its the original finish, I can get you a photo of the treble side of fretboard and neckplate with serial number on.

Update* The strat weighs just 7.55lbs or 3.42kg to the modern man
