I've found one which seems to meet all my criteria for £2300 on Reverb - apparently all original, just needs a new nut (I gather the reason it's not the 6k+ is that it's not mint, fair amount of wear, a chip on the horn, the tips of the scratchplate missing.
I've been looking all over the shop for a P90 equipped gibson, and this has a fat neck, is vintage and has a P90! I feel like I might have hit the jackpot!

EDIT: FWIW if anyone has an SG Special or SG Jr from around this area they'd like to part with, I'm all ears.

I think low 2ks are where SG jrs are at the moment - I would certainly not expect to see a SG Jr at 6k, that's just a timewaster price point.
I'd expect late 50's jrs to be maybe pushing that price maybe but not the SG.
For example - Someneck guitars in Dublin have a SG Jr that has been hanging around at 3kEuro for best part of 7 months, it's an absolute beast to play but similarly relic'd.
Check Phils Vintage Guitars in Thame, I seem to remember they have a decent looking SG special.

And don't forget Reverb's price guide thingy. But presumably USA prices.

I had a fairly long period when I was obsessed with SGs and would travel long distances chasing vintage examples.
I soon realised that the UK is awash with vintage guitars which have been abused and that all of the basket cases seem to be in the UK. (It is another reason to buy in the USA IMO).
And because of that....the first question I asked myself when viewing a sixties Junior or Special was this:
"Where was this guitar during the punk era?"
The ideal answer is - "Under the bed".
Maybe this guitar was under a bed during those years.
