edited August 2017 in Guitars £ tFB Trader
This handmade Feline Guitars Lion Cub DC was made in Croydon South London UK.

Body
Featuring a one piece mahogany body

Neck
The neck is a three piece quarter sawn mahogany neck (for rigidity, strength and quickness of tone) with a dual action truss rod
The 24.75" scale Indian Rosewood fingerboard sports 22 Dunlop 6100 Nickel silver frets.
Headstock overlay is a 3mm thick piece of ebony inlaid with a mother of pearl Feline logo
Inlays on the fingerboard (6mm)and side of neck (2mm)are also real mother of pearl.
The fingerboard tapers from 43mm at the nut to 57mm at the last fret and the neck thickness is 22mm at the first fret and 24mm at the 12th fret - so chunky but not huge.

Electrics are an Oil City Master-wound Jingo P90 pickup hand wound in London.
The controls are a pair of BKP/CTS 550K ohm pots and a BKP/Jensen 0.015uF Paper in Oil Capacitor and a switchcraft jack.

Hardware
GraphTech Ratio Tuners are used which you should check out if you are not familiar with them as they have different gearing ratios for each of the strings so all the strings tune up at the same rate and give much more control over the usually very twitchy low E and G strings tunings.
The Bridge is a fully adjustable Graphtech Resomax intonatable wraparound bridge. This is very carefully positioned to eliminate the need to use the offset grubscrews so the bridge has 100 % coupling with thee posts and even better resonance.
The nut is an Earvana compensated tuning nut from the same material as Graphtech make their Tusq nuts out of, but the clever bit is how in tune it makes all your chord playing. You may wonder how you ever coped before one you've experienced it.
The backplate is an anodised aluminium plate that has been laser etched with our logo.
Strap fittings are Jim Dunlop Strap-locks

Finish
The weight is a whisker under 8lb, so solid but not heavy.
The finish is many coats of red mahogany tinted Danish oil, with a few topcoats of Eze-Oil.

It comes with a Hiscox Liteflite case embossed with the Feline guitars logo

£1799 cash, bank transfer, PayPal or Payment with card in person

£30 shipped with insurance in UK

I got a semi when I saw the pictures, and I was fully erect after I'd finished reading the spec list - the best of the best in every position.

I've literally just posted this guitar in the "if money was no issue, what guitar would you get" thread.

Unfortunately money IS an issue. I don't suppose you'd take a lightly used kidney in trade? Pretty sure I don't NEED both of mine.

  • I love the cat's eyes only, subliminal headstock logo. That's class.

Obviously the rest of the guitar is very nice also...
Not much of the gear, even less idea.

Lots of interest but it's still here, so a little bump to remind people.
We do have an identical twin being finished off too
