It's jolly cunning - the brush bit attaches with magnets so you can take it off easily to change collets and bits.

And it works brilliantly. Should have bought this five years ago. No chasing the router with a hose, no mess... Awesome.

what sort of things do you make?

I've made a few guitars, a fair number of jewelry boxes, and a lot of useless decorative items. I used to make guitar pedals but gave that up.

At the moment I'm making a lot of things for the workshop - tool racks and suchlike.

That too.

It's not quicker than using, say, a pin router and templates, especially if you're building a lot of "pattern" things, but it means you can build unique stuff to the same precision. Except when it goes wrong and throws bits of wood across the room.
