Didn't he start out as a session player for Spector's Wall of Sound?

Would recommend checking out The Wrecking Crew film if you have Netflix, goes into detail about the studio musicians & what sessions/songs they featured on for various groups.

I have spent the last 2 days listening to this guy.

I am awestruck at his playing and skill. I've only ever seen people like Eric Johnson and Belew with his speed and musicality.

To consider most random people think he's a singer who 'plays a bit of guitar' is astonishing.

Steve Lukather said he's one of the top 5 players of all time and I'd not disagree. Amazing.

*An Official Foo-Approved guitarist since Sept 2023.

He did backing vocals for Beach Boys, didn't he? Great vocal range and control.
