Yamaha DXR10 tips

Calling @Wazmeister and others. Have just picked up a Yamaha DXR10. What should I do with the switches on the back to get it sounding best for FRFR with AX8

    Best tip is use the XLR input, the jack input is a bit noisy.  I have everything else 'off'

    Thanks @John_A it's a bit bass heavy at the moment but I think that's cos it's sat on the floor at the mo.

    I use mine on the floor too, I just add a low cut/ hi pass at about 120Hz on my Helix, I'm sure you could try the same on the Axe

    Tried the HPF on the DXR10 instead. V effective.

    Top tips ?

    I try to lower the volume on the DXR10. Always use XLR, escept when I use it as a two amp set up in stereo (with a real amp) via Big Sky.
