SOLD: PRS Paul Reed Smith Studio 22 (USA, 2011)
It's a PRS. Enough said, really. Versatile, reliable, playable. This is all of those and more.
Comes with the famous 57/08 PAF humbucker on the bridge, as well as PRS's patented 'narrowfield' humbuckers in the centre and neck positons. The five way switch lets you choose between each pickup solo, as well as combinations of the three. There is also a push/pull coil tap in the tone pot, that allows you to tap any or all of the three pickups.
This one has a gorgeous flamed maple '10 top', in a burnt amber finish.
The PRS tremolos are rightly renowned for their ease of use, as well as their ability to retain both tuning and intonation. This guitar is no exception. It also has the official Paul Reed Smith locking tuners, that not only help with that retention of tuning, but also make string changes an absolute breeze.
The neck is a Pattern Thin shape, for ultimate playability. The body and neck are both mahogany, with a maple cap on the body and a rosewood fingerboard, decorated with Paul Reed Smith's famous bird inlays.
£1595 from Southampton. Comes with the original case. Willing to consider trades and have cash to offer on top for anything really nice. Cash is always king though.
