I was never a fan of 'Shimmer' until I got a Neunaber Stereo Wet 2 + their EXP preset pedal..........it is head & shoulders above the Strymon Blue Sky that I had & sold.

  • - Warmth
    - The ability to stay clear in the mix
    - lack of metallic splash (the Talisman excels at this)

That metallic splash is exactly why I've never really liked proper spring reverbs... Bleurgh. Gimme a nice modulated or cathedral setting any day!

  • I've been using a EQD ghost echo as my number one reverb since they came out. It can sound a bit like a short delay when you play on your own but in a mix it sits just right, a little spring all the way to weird oscillations. Plus it looks sexy as hell.
