    You'd certainly hope not, wouldn't you?

    Crikey!
    They've managed to turn what is usually an excellent sounding amp into a very dull and uninspiring box.

    Think Paul's demos are better.  I think they are just a camera mic but they sound sound better than the ones above:

    I don't think any YouTube video really gives you the feel in the room though.  Best bet is to try one in the flesh.

    It also takes pedals really well, which isn't really shown in the original video.

    It might be worth looking at some VIntage Trouble videos as their guitarist uses Lazy J.

    Edit:  my inner pedant says this should be moved to the amp section.

    @dean111music

    J20 is a rich syrupy tweed deluxe. It's full of tone, harmonics and richness.

    I run mine with a pinpoint accurate Cornish modded DRRI with a JBL- the DRRI will add the clarity and detail.

    It is a one trick pony mostly, but that trick is a monster of a trick and provides an outcome to die for.

    Neil, the whole workshop and Paula- Paula loved me to bits and actually offered me the huge flat above the shop at one point.

    Daniel's Tele has it's own sound tho and he likes a certain sort of gain which admittedly doesn't really do the amp justice here

    Great saleswoman, Paula. She'd already flogged him most of the guitars in the shop, so she moved onto property.
