FS: 1990 Ibanez RG550DY(gone)

Decided to move my RG on, since having a baby I've not used it and seems a waste to have it lying about considering I have a Soloist now. 

In decent condition for it's age. There's a couple of chips on the side and a couple of tiny dings. however hardware is in great condition and the neck is pretty clean.

All original, sounds and plays as you would imagine it would. Does come with leather gig bag. 

£500 collected or delivered by me for £20 if you live within 50 miles of Watford.

I think you're getting it confused with the Jem777dy.

Were these MIJ? Whats up with that fugly small backplate? Do you have the trem arm?

yeah the RG550 was made in Japan. There's nothing wrong with the small back plate, it just still has the original protective film over it. and yes does has the term arm.

Looks like a bit of fret wear... what's the worst of it like?

I think that's just the light making it look worse than it is, the frets are barely worn. could probably do with a good polish though

Are there paint chips on the edge near the volume control? Can I get a close up?

Substantially better. 550's are rightly classics.

any hairline cracks on the nut bolts (back of headstock)? on the neck pocket?

Hair line cracks as normal at the neck pocket. No cracks at the nut end though.
