IMO, the best look is covered, followed by zebra, followed by cream. No all-blacks for me I'm afraid.

What's the consensus on knobs for a Goldtop? I've got the standard gold ones on mine, but think the reflector type look better.

Any type, as long as they're gold - and properly gold, not those horrible fake-looking dark amber ones you get on Epiphones and such like.

I personally like reflectors because they're what comes on a 70s LP Deluxe Goldtop, which is one of my favourite Les Pauls.
