Because I'm a 36 year old man-child, and because the ten year-old me just exploded, I bought these today. Utterly ludicrous, and utterly brilliant. Huge nostalgia trip - these seemed like the most amazing things imaginable when I was a kid.

Look great.Nothing wrong with a nostalgia trip.I am sure nostalgia is why some of those old Teisco,Jedson type guitars are bought .
  I saw a program about making a pair of Reebok trainers.I did not know they still made Trainers in the UK ,I sat through it.Great viewing amazed at the amount of effort / time and QC they put in.

Agreed! Guessing we must be of very similar age then. I had the white and red Jordan 6s at the time, and some amazing Air Force 180 pumps... wish the adult me had those - they sell for hundreds now!

A friend of mine was going crazy over the fact I've got an Adidas sports bag from the 80s. Apparently it's worth a fair bit of money in decent nick? I've no idea, I've used it for keeping my plumbing gear in.

I used to envy kids at school who'd tip up wearing Nike Air Max whilst having to embarrassingly run around in my shitty hi-tecs and "Addidas two-stripes" for PE. God, they were tough times.

They're pretty great. I really want the anniversary pair currently sat on eBay. I do not however fancy the £250 price tag
