V30s work really well with DSL-type modern Marshalls which tend to be thin in the mids and buzzy at the top-end - the V30 counteracts both of those perfectly. Not so good with older ones...

This DSL owner disagrees.  I couldn't stand what they sounded like together.

It really is all personal preference.  I run my DSL into a 2x12 with 80s G12T-75s and am very happy.  For me a truckload better than V30s.
