Jon Shuker (Guitar Builder)?

I want to get my Tele set up and as the guy I normally use is having rather a woeful time at the moment, I need to try someone else. I hadn't heard of this guy until a Bassist I know told me about him.

Anyone had experience using him? He obviously has a great reputation and is highly skilled, but I just thought I'd ask, you could tell me about the work he's done for you, be it a Guitar Build or a set up. I'm gonna check his site anyway.

He fitted a Bigsby for me around 20years ago but havent caught up with him since. He did a top job but just not the right side of town for me these days. He makes very nice basses....

Yep - He's certainly up there with the best of them in the UK

He makes JJ Burnell's Basses, so he's used to anything Fender related

He makes some AMAZING basses at a very 'reasonable' price. If I wanted a custom bass, I'd go to Shuker. I'd imagine he is top notch at setups and mods.

A mate of mine had one of his basses and I've seen him and his stuff at a few shows.
All looked top notch to me.

Took the Tele to him today, bonus that it was a lovely sunny day in the Peak District

Oddly enough chap I know on FB just had an Evertune bridge outbon his ESP by this guy. 
He plays for The Fields of the Nephillim.

Got my Tele back from Jon and he's done a wonderful job on it, it feels very nice to play now. Tone and half bends all over the neck without choking out, lovely lowish action to suit my playing. Nice fretwork and nut work. I also saw an Evertune Bridge in the flesh for the first time on one of his Teles. I was speechless, it's quite a clever piece of Engineering.

Anyway, I highly recommend Mr Shuker
