WEM 10 watt combo, great little amp
    Marshall solid state head
    Linear head, borrowed
Intermusic 50watt combo, more use as an extension cab as it had a great speaker.
    Vox ac 30 reissue
    Fender Champ2 still got
Marshall Jcm 900 50/25 combo, still got.
Marshall solid state 10watt thing, this was useful while I was commuting between Stockport and Crawley, sold it a few years ago.
    Marshall dsl401 still got.
    Blackstar HT 20H still got
    Jet city 50H still got

    Don't touch that dial.

Quite therapeutic this. I have always felt embarrassed about the amount of amps I tried, but seems I'm not alone

  • Stareted gigging around 1999

    Trace Elliot Tramp65 (?)
    Marshall AVT50H and 412
    Orange AD30TC and 412
    Vox AC30TB Korg era

Can't remember order of the following but all were back-ups for the Vox
    Marshall Haze 15
    Orange Dual Terror
    MJW V6-20
    Blackstar Artisan 15

    Ulbrick Venue 30
    Fargen Retro Classic 25
    Fender 65DDRI

    Boss Katana mini

Only have the Boss now as I'd given up hope of joining another band. Typically I've just been approached about starting a band with a mate so might be in the market for one soon.

Late 80s, early 90s, some nameless SS practice amp with a 10in speaker which sounded pretty horrible (matched my playing perfectly!)

Large gap in playing guitar until couple of years ago...

Now have Katana 100w head and Mesa Mk5:25, 212 Zilla SuperFatBoy with creamback m and neo creamback in.

Playing is still terrible but improving slowly :)

    Session Duette 110 (1988)
    Vox Adio Air GT (2020)

That's it.  I should probably hand in my tFB membership.

THR has better fidelity but Spark is a better practice home amp.

    Now gone:

Some awful Gorilla GG20 thing. It was epically shit.
valve state Marshall stack thing with a 4x12
    Tech 21 Trademark 30.
    MJW Roadstar 18
MJW Roadstar 36 in various configurations
    Fuchs 4 Aces
    Jet City JCA20
    Fender Greta
    MJW Goldstar
    Fender Champ
    Laney Ironheart

Think my favourites  were the 36w Roadstar. Somewhere between a Vox and a Plexi
The 4 Aces. Stupidly loud for the size and sounded terrible quiet, but had something in the design that resulted in the early onset of glorious musical feedback more than any other amp I played.

    Currently have:

MJW Matchless 15w vox/matchless style build. Beautiful cleans and takes pedals like a champ.

Mini Jubilee. Great 80s rock tone. The sound of my youth.

MJW V6-20. Angus. Especially when cranked up.

  • A Sunn ST 15  From about 88 (Still have it needs some pot love though)
Vox Lead 100 - Still have it

     Marshall Valvestate 8080 (long gone)

Fender Blues Deluxe - current amp

So not quite as extensive as some other users.

Fairly simple really over the years.

1991 ish - jcm 800 4104 2x12 (because every 14 year old needs a 50w Marshall in a 2 up 2 down terraced house, obvs. I also thought the presence control was reverb and convinced myself turning it up produced some ambience when I tested it. Oh the days before the internet..)

2006 - When my brother was gigging with my jcm 800, got a small dsl 201 combo from chandlers . Now gone. Rescued my 800 back home again. Will never sell it ever. Love it

Then youtube came along - and 2012-2016 had a vintage modern 50w when in a rock covers band. Was actually lovely but grew a bit bored of it.  Sold it and I tried the victory v30 for one week, before swapping it for a v40 for about a year. Was fine but very boring.

2017 badcat Black Cat replaces the v40. Lovely amp but found a birth month/year fender champ from 1977 at Charlie Chandlers so got that and sold the black cat.

2018 - lazy J j20 with reverb. Bloody lovely amp and even though I feel bad at spending 2k on it, it is just so flipping lovely that it’s staying. Like Jesse and his general approach to gear and life, and am happy to support a good chap.

So jcm 800, silver face champ from ‘77 and lazy j 20.

I'm actually hoping that my amp journey will end at Nirvana...

No, not a Mesa Studio Preamp into a Crown power amp and 4x12"s ;)

Finally freeing myself from the need for physical amps at all.
