NGD - Jazzmaster content (a 'fancy' one)

After selling my original @GSPBASSES JM kit to @DefaultM - when ordering my Koa Strat, Grahame made me a B stock JM offer I couldn't refuse, so back to building a JM then.

I knew it had to be 'Surfbust' after first seeing the relic one in Coda, doing some more searching led to a non faded example. I sent over the pictures to @lamf68 and started collecting up parts

Mojo pickups (with Mojo wiring loom), with an overwound bridge (they sound amazing!)
Cheap trem (I don't really use the trem, but could upgrade it in the future)
Wilkinson Roller bridge
Parchment scratch plate

There are times when I've finished a job that I feel a little underwhelmed. This however is without a doubt one of the most satisfied I've been after finishing anything. The endless possibilities regarding colour and finish bring me joy. And Dave is far and away the person that stretches the boundaries when he sends me anything to paint, from the explorer, the V to the Monterey to the super strat and now this. Thank fuck someone has some imagination and asks me to realise it...cheers for the job Dave mate, it had its moments of seeming impossibility with that top horn but in the end it's without a shadow of doubt the most splendid looking thing ever.
