I think amazon have lost it

I bought a M2 melodymaker with vouchers i had for my birthday the end of july.
Ordered and paid for on the friday with next day delivery.
I was on hols at the time so could be in to recieve the delivery - by sunday the status said it was at the hermes hub for delivery next day.
It actually arrived the following thursday - not a big deal but for the fact i paid for next day delivery, and each day the status kept saying delivery attempted at 5.20pm - which was bullshit as i waited in because they kept guaranteeing delivery by 9pm.

Funnily enough, the one thing Amazon doesn't sell is Amazons. Apparently, 6ft tall women dressed in loin clothes with spears object to being stuffed through letter boxes or left with neighbours if you're out. Who'd have thought?

My wife once ordered a cross trainer.  It arrived and the box was smaller than expected but reassuringly heavy.

Pretty much my experience too. The only time their service slips is at Xmas when they take on temporary delivery staff.
