WTB: Strat locking machine heads

Get the Fender ones as they do just drop in. I put a set on my Corgan Strat for that very reason.

Axesrus sell Hipshot lockers - very nicely made, and have a unique feature... They attach (like many) by screwing down the threaded bush, but to stop them rotating they ship two (3+3) little (optional) shim plates that fit behind the headstock - they have a little"return" that snugs up against the side of the tuners. So no need for screws...

Only downside is they aren't staggered height (like Sperzels), but you probably already have string trees fitted, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Real quality for around £54 (IIRC)
