Didn't really bond with mine. The sounds are OK although everything had a digital sheen to my ears. I tried gigging with it and it did my head in usability wise.
I've owned one twice, and having got into midi this year, I'd so love to own one again for it's versatility.

    BUT,

I'm with Simon (above). It just sounded digital and artificial (if that's the right term) to me.

I loved the separate Space unit, and the H9 may have the same apparent settings, but it just never sounded the same to me. As ever, ymmv...

  • Also it's possible to utilise the Algorithms for alternate fx, for example

H949/910 it's a pitch shifter with a delay, it's a beautiful digital Delay, crystal clean and I use it for that without the pitch function, its also a lovely chorus.

Vintage Delay, by turning up the mix to 100% and the delay time to 0% I can now use the 'bits' control as a bit-crusher with a filter control too.

There are loads of Alternative options if you experiment.

" Why does it smell of bum?" Mrs Professorben.
