Anyone around Huddersfield fancy helping me learn how to set up guitars?

I've got 3 guitars that need a little bit of tinkering, and I reallywant to learn how to do this myself. Just wondered if anyone in the area is confident, competent and kind enough to watch over me one evening? Simple ish things like action and intonation. Not planning to take any strings off or anything as they've all recently had new sets. 

Any help would me much appreciated! I've spent too much on setup fees this year already!

I thought you were used to driving stupid distances... happy to do a daytime instead, or a weekend day.

Buy a Dan Erlewine book. It will explain what to do, why and the sequence in which to do it.

@Legionreturns I'm in Hudds too and I'd love to learn too. It would be an interesting workshop.

Perhaps if there's a few of us we could pay someone like Shane Haigh to give us a lesson?

I wonder if Bob at Sasquatch could get someone and host such an evening? We're about to throw a decent chunk of money, and a shit load of free advertising his way at the Northern Jam!

Im good for intonation, action, and truss rod stuff.
