Gibson Quick connect system compatibility?

as I was toying with the idea of getting rid of my les paul studio I am in 2 minds to keep it and install some Seymour duncan slash pick ups on there and keep it as my 'guns n roses' guitar.

I know you can get adapters to fit seymour duncans with the quick connect so that's simple.

However I was wondering if I took the pick ups out of my studio and put them in my SG (which is a 2010 model) are they the same fit? the SG had a circuit board with connectors but looks different from the modern quick connect.

Thanks

Put a new wiring harness in there, far better. Just look at my post about upgrading my Junior. (its the same as the one you bought)

  • The easiest way to try out Seymour Duncan pickups on the Gibson PCB is to acquire the correct block connectors.

Be aware that, although Gibson and Duncan use the same four colours on the four-con + shield output cable, they use them in different orders.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.
