I recently discovered Riffstation & it's revolutionised my practice. 

I used to just pick up one of my (many) guitars & aimlessly strum chord progressions or play pentatonic runs till I was bored. 

Now I choose a song & actually make a concerted effort to learn it- 

Starting with chords then adding riffs and solos etc. 

The free app is good (I plug my iPad into my MultiFX & jam along using the chords as a guide) but the paid version for desktop is brilliant- slow solos down, change keys... I've not explored everything fully yet, but I will. 

Anyone else use it?

Funnily enough, since I started playing more I've sold 5 guitars & am much happier with just the two I've kept. Weird.
